Dr. Miles Singer

Board Certified Orthopedic Surgeon

Miles L. Singer, DO, FACOS, FAOAO, is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon who specializes in adult and adolescent minimally invasive spine surgery. Dr. Singer founded Specialists in Spine Surgery in January 2010, and he is committed to providing the highest level of care at five locations in Livonia, Commerce, Garden City, Farmington Hills, and Dearborn, Michigan.

After completing his undergraduate education at Michigan State University in East Lansing, Michigan, Dr. Singer earned his Doctor of Osteopathy from Des Moines University in Des Moines, Iowa. He went on to finish his internship and residency in orthopedic surgery at Beaumont Hospital, formerly known as Botsford Hospital, in Farmington Hills, Michigan.

Next, Dr. Singer completed a fellowship in adult and pediatric spine surgery at Southern Illinois School of Medicine in Springfield, Illinois. He is a fellow of the American College of Osteopathic Surgeons and the American Osteopathic Academy of Orthopedics.

Dr. Singer’s approach to medicine is conservative, with an emphasis on patient education. He takes time to explain every treatment option to his patients and has extensive experience with both surgical and nonsurgical methods. With a caring and supportive demeanor, Dr. Singer diagnoses and treats the full spectrum of back and neck problems, including deformities such as scoliosis and spinal trauma.

Dr. Singer is married with three children and enjoys serving the Michigan community as a Mason and Shriner.
